Please click photo for more photos and information.   This is a very large 84 x 42 inch live edge slab coffee table.  Very strong structure underneath allows for rigidity using traditional joinery methods.  Wedges fill cracks once were with quarter sawn white oak bowties as accents.

I was tasked with building a replica of a George Nakashima Frenchman’s Cove II dining table with book matched top.  Cracks were checked using walnut boties for a more blended look, the middle bowties are oxidized white oak.  Please use the contact form if you’d like to discuss a table of this type being made for you.

This desk (could also be configured as dinning and coffee tables) is made from curly maple, drawer pull and sides are cherry.  Legs are Wegner style, lots of lathe work turning legs and spindle parts/supports.  Measures 80″ wide x 34″ deep.  The floor in my studio is very sloped in that area – not the table.  C

This table measures 72″ plus x a maximum depth of 37″…..  Six lathe turned tapered legs and a drawer added for convenience.
